The tragedy of William Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet" moved with contemporary realities subculture of rival gangs.
The action takes place in the fictional town of Verona Beach, Florida at the end of the twentieth century. It begins at the station
gas, where there is a shootout between warring gangs associated with the two most important
families in the city: Capulets and the Montagues. Against this background, developing the love story of two young people - Romeo

Niesamowite jest to, ze niezależnie od scenografii i pomysłu reżysera, ten tekst zawsze mnie wzrusza. Byłam na tym filmie wiele lat temu jako już dojrzała kobieta. Byłam zaskoczona, ze po kilku minutach trwania filmu młoda publiczność przestała chrupać popcorn a po projekcji usłyszałam wymowna cisze.
Ja miałam 16 lat,gdy dwa razy oglądałam w kinie ten film.Byłam i jestem nim nadal wzruszona i zachwycona.
LEONARDO DICAPRIO JEST MI OBOJĘTNY
Kocham ten film.... 20cia lat temu miałam 15 lat. Bardzo się ucieszyłam, że można go zobaczyć znów na dużym ekranie.. Chętnie obejrzę fo po raz nasty.. !!!
To już 20 lat? Oglądaliśmy bodajże w Bałtyku. W pierwszej chwili zaskoczenie (szok?)-wszystko wierszem i ta sceneria. A za chwilę zachwyt. W mojej opinii film świetny. Pozostaje w głowie. I muzyka super. Aż mam ochotę obejrzeć go ponownie w kinie. Teraz znowu jestem zaskoczony- że jest w repertuarze. Zachęcam. Polecam.
