In a small, deserted town, in the middle of a cold winter, the funeral home of Edmond Zweck is decaying due to lack of clients. The company already has only two employees - Georges, who is the right hand of the owner and Eddie, a young assistant who is just learning the profession. One morning, an unexpected event brings Edmond back to hope - the customers end up with a dead man. Georges and Eddie are given the task of leading the funeral convoy and delivering the deceased to the place of eternal rest. But when the caravan loses its way and it is impossible to locate the cemetery, the journey turns into an unexpected nightmare that can resurrect even the deceased.
